If you suspect nursing home abuse, there are a number of steps you should immediately take. Number one, you should document it. You should take pictures, you are allowed in New Jersey to take pictures of what’s going on with your loved one. You should also request the medical records or the nursing home records so they can be reviewed, and give us a call so we can guide you and tell you about what you should do. There’s also some government entities where you can get a free investigator, and we will go over that with you.
