When we handle nursing home abuse or medical malpractice matters, we handle these on a contingency basis. That means if there’s no recovery, there’s no fee. Generally, in New Jersey, if we get a recovery, we get one-third of the recovery after our expenses. Also, we advance expenses. These matters are expensive. It could cost 50,000 to $100,000 to bring your matter to trial, and we advance those funds for you. But, of course, we get paid back at the end when we get you a recovery.
